Only nine days until conference! Here’s an idea for you. Bring return address labels to the conference. They are great for putting on ticket stubs for door prizes. Certainly saves on the time filling them out, and they are SO easy to read!

Good news! If you are staying at the InterContinental Hotel, parking is free, and that’s valet parking too. For those persons who will not be staying, but desire to park at the hotel, parking is $10 per day. Be sure to mention you are with OGS!

The Great Lakes Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists will be meeting from 5-5:30 in room 202. See them at booth 25 for Brick Wall Solutions. This is a twenty minute consultation with professional genealogists. Times are available from 9-4 on Friday. Check at the registration desk/bulletin board to see times available. First come, first served.

We have been informed that Sandy Malitz who was to speak on the Palmer Collection at WRHS will be unable to attend. This is session T-2.

One of the new things we will have at this year’s conference is a set of papers called “Pink Sheets.” These sheets will give you information regarding the conference, a layout of the conference center, the room assignments, and lots of other very pertinent information. Don’t be lost, use your “Pinks!”
