Location: From Interstate 271, exit at Mayfield Road (Route 322) heading east. Turn right on SOM Center Road (Highway 91). Turn right on Cedar Road. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be on the right (.3 miles) Free parking is available in the LDS parking lot. If lost, call Kenny Burck on his cell phone at 513-260-0238.
Fifteen non-smoking rooms are being held by OGS at the Comfort Inn, 1421 Golden Gate Blvd., Mayfield Heights, OH 44124 located on Golden Gate Plaza which is off of Mayfield Road a little west of SOM Center Road (Highway 91). If traveling east on Mayfield Road, turn left onto Golden Gate Plaza. If traveling west on Mayfield Road turn right onto Golden Gate Plaza and look for the Comfort Inn sign. It will be on the left. Bob Evans restaurant is right across from the Comfort Inn. The rates for a king or 2 double-bed rooms for up to 4 people are $95.00 plus tax. Reservations must be made by 26 July 2013 for the Comfort Inn. Call 440-442-8400. (Tell them it is for the OGS event.)
If you are coming in early, the Western Reserve Historical Society Library, located at 10825 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106 will be open on Friday, 9 August from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Reference Librarian is willing to give attendees a special behind the scenes tour at 2:00 p.m. The Library is about 25 to 30 minutes away from the motel. The phone number is 216-721-5722 if needed. WRHS is offering FREE admission and FREE parking (a $15.00 value) for seminar attendees. Please carpool if possible.
