OGS Publications The Ohio Genealogical Society has a long and rich history of publishing. With books covering such topics as marriage records, military records, and cemetery locations, there is almost certainly an OGS book to help with your Ohio research needs. Books are not the only publications by OGS. The award-winning Ohio Genealogy News and the OGS Quarterly (formerly The Report) are included with OGS membership. Ohio Records & Pioneer Families has long been regarded as a "must-have" resource for Ohio genealogists. Proceeds from ORPF benefit the OGS Library. The Ohio Civil War Genealogy Journal is the newest OGS periodical and it is quickly becoming indispensable for researching Ohioans involved in the Civil War.
