Laurie Hermance-Moore, MLS, AG ® leads strategic planning for OGS and is the chair of the Access committee. Laurie holds a bachelor’s degree in U.S. history, a master’s degree in library science, and a master’s degree in marketing. She holds an Accredited Genealogist® credential in the U.S. Midwest region from the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen). She speaks nationally on society topics and on U.S. Midwest research. As an adoptee who was fortunate enough to find her birth family only a few years ago, Laurie believes that’s why she was rewarded with especially interesting ancestors.
