“Lineage Societies of the Ohio Genealogical Society” presented by Margaret Cheney

The Ohio Genealogical Society has 6 different lineage societies. Learn what they are about and how to qualify for any one of them. This program will be an overview of the Lineage Societies and how to determine which one you will be able to join. Margaret Cheney has been chair of First Families of Ohio Lineage Society for the last 12 years. She has conducted numerous workshops at the annual OGS conferences that have been well received.

OGSQ Contest 1 September – 31 December
OGS is sponsoring its genealogical writing contest to reward amateur and professional genealogical authorship and to help fill the pages of its renowned journals with articles.
