On Monday, August 14, at 7 pm, the Lorain County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogy Society is pleased to present a virtual program, Railroads of Lorain County, by railroad historian, preservationist, photographer, and model railroader Adam Matthews.
Over a dozen individual railroad companies have operated in Lorain County in the past 170 years. Travel through time from the earliest days to the Golden Age of Railroading to the present. The presentation will feature newly discovered historical material, famous train wrecks, and news on recent developments in the world of railroad preservation.
