Immigrating to a new country was hard enough, but at the beginning of the 20th century some immigrants became victims of a new form of crime from a people calling themselves “The Black Hand”. This webinar will explore what “The Black Hand” was, and was not, and one Ohio community’s experiences with it. Presented by OGS Executive Director Noel Poirier. This webinar will be recorded for future viewing on the OGS website.

OGS is sponsoring its genealogical writing contest to reward amateur and professional genealogical authorship and to help fill the pages of its renowned journals with articles.
