Warren County Chapter – “Midwest Archives: Worthy of More Than Just a Flyover” presented by Amber Oldenburg

The Midwest encompasses eleven states and nearly seventy million people with an innumerable number of archives. From federal, state, local, and university archives, the large number of places to find records can be overwhelming to the family historian. This session will explore the vast number of archives found within the Midwest while highlighting select records found within these archives.
Amber Oldenburg is a genealogist, lecturer, and social media manager with a degree in Family History Research from Brigham Young University-Idaho, where she currently serves as an online instructor in their Family History Research program. She specializes in Midwest and Great Lakes states research.

OGS is sponsoring its genealogical writing contest to reward amateur and professional genealogical authorship and to help fill the pages of its renowned journals with articles.
