Learn the proper techniques of cemetery restoration and repair ~ identifying, cleaning, and repairing grave markers. This workshop is presented by WCGS and guided by one of America’s preeminent restorationists, Ta Mara Conde, of Historic Gravestone Services of New Salem, Massachusetts.
Are you…
• interested in seeing cemeteries are well-maintained, restored, and given deserving respect?
• a cemetery caretaker or responsible for oversight and maintenance? Township trustees? A Church leader?
• interested in preserving our consecrated cemeteries and passing on the knowledge of and respect for their proper preservation to future generations?
At the end of the day, attendees will have the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and get hands-on experience on historic grave markers. Ta Mara is instructed by NCPTT guidelines.
