29th Annual Ohio Genealogical Society Chapter Management Seminar

Host Chapter: Warren County Chapter of OGS

Ten or more sessions will be held to help train Chapter Officers and Chairs and/or future Chapter Officers and Chairs in a variety of topics. However all are welcome. Complimentary morning refreshments are provided.

Sessions are FREE to OGS members AND to OGS Chapter members - $25.00 fee for others.
No pre-registration is required. Just come in!

Free parking is available in the church parking lot behind the building as well as on-street parking. Entrance to the Seminar is from the back of the church.

Location: From Interstate 75, exit at Monroe, OH (exit #29) then head east on Ohio Route 63. This becomes Main Street in Lebanon, OH. Turn left on Broadway (north) and continue 2 blocks. Turn right onto Silver Street, continuing to the church in the 2nd block on your left.
From Interstate 71 southbound, exit at Ohio Route 123 (exit #29) then head west on Ohio Route 123. This becomes Main Street in Lebanon, OH.
From Interstate 71 northbound, exit at Ohio Route 48 (exit #28), head north on Ohio Route 48 and exit this Bypass 48 at the Main Street exit (the sign will say Lebanon Raceway & signs for Routes 123 & 48).
For all I-71 drivers, continue on Main Street, turn right on Broadway (north) and continue 2 blocks. Turn right on Silver Street, continuing to the church in the 2nd block.

Fifteen non-smoking rooms are being held by OGS for Friday 8 August at the Shaker Inn, 600 Cincinnati Avenue (U.S. Route 42), Lebanon, OH, OH 45236. There is 1 room with 1 bed for 1-2 people at $64 plus tax, 13 rooms with 2 double beds for 1-2 people for $74 plus tax, and 1 suite with a king bed and a sofa bed for $84 plus tax. Reservations must be made by 25 July 2014. Call 1-800-752-6151 to make a reservation if needed. Check-in is 3:00 p.m. and checkout is 11:00 a.m. To reach the Shaker Inn, follow the above directions to the corner of Main Street and Broadway in downtown Lebanon (the Golden Lamb Inn is on the corner). Go south on Broadway (away from the Golden Lamb Inn) and into the right lane. Cross the RR tracks and veer right with a continuous green arrow onto Cincinnati Avenue. The Shaker Inn is a little more than a Ĺ mile on your right.

The Warren County Genealogical Society Resource Library, located at 406 Justice Drive, Lebanon, OH in the County Administration Building, will be open on Friday, 8 August from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Members will be present to give a special behind the scenes tour at 2:00 p.m. The Resource Library is about 10 minutes away from the motel. The phone number is 513-695-1144. There is no cost to visit the Library. Directions from Main Street & Broadway: go east on Main Street 3 blocks, turn right on East Street and left on Justice Drive, and turn left at the 3-story building with flags into the parking area. The Library is on the lower level.
