This program is a part of the monthly Ohio 250th Commission themes celebrating our nation’s 250th anniversary: Ohio’s Firsts & Originals. \n“Who Were Northeast Ohio’s Pre-Historic Native Americans?” to be led by Cheryl McClellan. For over 500 years\, a nation of pre-historic Native\nAmericans lived along the Northeast Ohio’s Lake Erie shoreline. They disappeared about 350 years ago. Once thought to be part of the Erie Culture\, modern archeologists now term them “Whittlesey Focus” people. \nYou will need to pre-register through the Chardon Public Library (geaugalibrary.libcal.com) or the GCGS website\, under Programs.
