SUMMARY:Geauga County Genealogical Society Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:Field Trip for Members and their Guests Only. \n“How Our Ancestors Used NE Ohio’s Natural Resources” Field Trip to the Kirtland Ashery\, Sawmill\, and Quarry. \nWe will visit the only restored Ashery in the U.S. located in Historic Kirtland\, a completely restored sawmill and the\nquarry used to build the Kirtland Temple. \nWe will first meet at the Morley Farm\, at 8605 Chillicothe Road\, at 6:00 p.m. at the shelter. Bring a\npacked meal. A brief meeting will be held while we enjoy our meal and friends. Water and finger-food\ndessert will be provided. \nMembers – watch your email for directions. Reservations not needed!
