Fairfield County Chapter Meeting – March 19 2026
The Fairfield County Chapter of OGS meeting is March 19, 2026, at the Genealogical Research Library, 503 Lenwood Drive in Lancaster. Refreshments at 6:30 pm, business meeting at 7:00 pm, followed by the program on obits with F. Eric Smith of the F.E. Smith Funeral Home. ALL are welcome.

Ohio Genealogical Society Writing Contests
OGN Contest 1 July – 30 September
OGSQ Contest 1 September – 31 December
OGS is sponsoring its genealogical writing contest to reward amateur and professional genealogical authorship and to help fill the pages of its renowned journals with articles.
