Eligibility
Any member of OGS who is a direct descendant of any person residing in Ohio from 1861 to 100 years prior to the current year, or year of application is eligible to become a member of The Century Families of Ohio. In 2014, your ancestors would have had to have been in Ohio by the end of 1914; in 2015, by 1915 and so on.
All CFO society applications must be accompanied by proof of descent and the payment of a non-refundable $40 application fee. Applications must first be approved by the appropriate lineage society committee and then by the Ohio Genealogical Society’s Board of Trustees.

Induction of new members of Century Families of Ohio is held at the annual OGS Conference.
