Bio:

Mary Stockwell received her Ph.D. in history from the University of Toledo and later served as a professor of history and department chair at Lourdes University. She has been awarded research fellowships at the New York Public Library and the William L. Clements Library at the University of Michigan. Since her retirement from her teaching and administrative career, she has become a full-time writer.
