2024 Mavourneen Harshman OGS Librarian Day – “Inclusive Lineages”

Join us for the Mavourneen Harshman Librarian Day Program at the OGS Samuel D. Isaly Library in Bellville, Ohio on March 29, 2024. The theme of this year’s program is “Inclusive Lineages”. Presentations geared for librarians about how they can assist their patrons with conducting genealogical research into underrepresented groups in their own libraries.
Gayle Wilson will present “Beginning African American Research” and Deb Kitko will present “Finding Your Indigenous Ancestor in 19th Century Records”.
Attendees will receive tours of the OGS Samuel D. Isaly Library and the OGS Lyle H. West Archives to better understand the resources available through the Ohio Genealogical Society. Box lunches will be available for an additional charge.
