Hello, my name is Patti Keller and I am currently a 10-year life member of the Firelands Genealogical Society
(FGS) and a member of Ottawa Genealogical Society (not a life member). I hold a position of trustee in
FGS and is currently the fundraising chair (newly installed in April 2023). I was a past member of Erie
County Genealogical Society until it dissolved in 2017.
Earlier this year, I proved an ancestral line to a Revolutionary War Ancestor and became a member of the
Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). I am currently serving on the Constitution and Parade
committee for the Sally DeForest Chapter of the Ohio DAR.
I have served on many non-profit organizations including Friends of Pipe Creek Watershed (President
three years and secretary for two years and chapter founder). Before that, I served as secretary and visiting
member for Sandusky Jaycees. During my seven years in Jaycees, I became a 10th-degree Jaycee and
attained Statesman status.
In 2007, I graduated from BGSU with a Master’s Degree in Political Science with an emphasis on non-
profit management.
My philosophy is based on a line in the Jaycee Creed: “Service to Humanity is the best work of life.”
