“If These Walls Could Talk” will be a presentation at the December 11 virtual meeting of the Ohio Genealogical Society – Lorain County Chapter. Christina Yetzer Drain, genealogy and history researcher, will show how to explore land patents and deeds, historical maps, tax records, and more to piece together a timeline of ownership, from the earliest settlers to today’s residents. During the program, you will dive into the rich tapestry of the past, using city directories, censuses, newspapers, and other records to weave the fascinating stories of the families who once called your place home. This online program will begin at 7 pm (EDT) and is free and open to the public. To receive a link to the meeting, contact [email protected] and ask to be added to the list.
