9:30 am – Greetings and Introductions from OGS Staff

10:00 am – First Program “Innovative Approaches: Genealogy Program Exchange for Libraries and Societies” – Programming can be challenging, so let’s learn from each other! Societies and libraries are invited to attend and share events and programs that were impactful. Presented by members of the Northeast Ohio Local/Family History Librarians

11:30 am – OGS Presentation “Who Are We?” – Presenter TBD

12:30 pm – Lunch – Box lunches available and there are many nearby restaurants and fast food retailers

1:30 pm – Second Program “Tips, Tactics, & Tools for History Librarians” – A panel from the Northeast Ohio Local/Family History Librarians discuss tips and tactics for maintaining local/family history collections, conducting efficient reference interviews, and guiding patrons to effective research questions. Free tools and resources will also be shared. Presented by members of the Northeast Ohio Local/Family History Librarians

3:00 pm – Library Tour – Librarian Linda Swanson and Archivist Jenna Kish lead a guided tour of the library and archives for those interested. Free time for research and exploration if not on tour.
