The Dayton Metro Library provides a wealth of genealogical and historical information. As with all libraries and archives, the Dayton Metro Library’s genealogy collection is constantly updated. In this presentation, Lori Rotterman, Information Services Assistant, Special Collections, will talk about physical materials and equipment that can be found at the library such as books, microfilm, scanners, maps, and local history items, as well as databases available on the library’s website www.daytonmetrolibrary.org. Lori will also direct a short tour of the Genealogy area. It is well worth any researcher’s time to revisit repositories and materials to find new information.
All monthly meetings of the Montgomery County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society are free and open to the public. Please feel free to join us at the Dayton Metro Library. If you would like a link to the live Zoom presentation or have any questions, contact [email protected].
